Whether you’re a seasoned traveller or it’s your first time away from home, the Allabroad range of Superyacht Crew training packages will provide you with the perfect kick start to a successful career.
Superyacht Crew Training packages aimed to help get your yachting career underway. Each of the course packages below include the mandatory STCW Basic Safety Training as this is the minimum requirements to work on board.

MCA STCW Basic Safety Training:-

Who should take this course: This entry level package is ideal if you have additional skills or experience, such as engineering, or cheffing for example. However most yacht crew will find more options armed extra certification from the Silver Package.
Certifcation, skills & experience gained: Regardless of any other training you may be considering, it is mandatory for all Superyacht Crew to complete the ‘STCW Basic Safety Training’ suite of courses. This is a bundle of 5 courses that everyone must complete before they can legally work on a vessel at sea, and these are accepted internationally, so you can work anywhere in the world!
The Allabroad ‘Starter Package’ provides this package of five courses , so you can be considered for your first Superyacht position.
All Starter Package course content

Who should take this course: This package is designed to enhance your CV giving you the best chance of being selected for your key first position. It gives you greater credibility, a head start to life onboard a Superyacht and shows you are committed, motivated and eager to learn.
Certifcation, skills & experience gained: This package includes everything from the Starter Package and qualifies you to operate a small powerboat for transfers and supply runs, for example. In addition, with the silver package, you will be able to legally operate the communications radios and handle food.
This course is challenging, but also very enjoyable, you will be training and socialising alongside experienced and well connected yacht crew.

Who should take this course: This Superyacht Crew Training package gives you the very best head start for securing your vital first position.
Certifcation, skills & experience gained: You’ll cruise from Gibraltar, visit Spanish Morocco and Spain whilst learning deck duties, line handling, look out duties, watch keeping, vessel care, day-today cleaning and basic maintenance along with learning how to navigate and skipper a smaller vessel with real hands on experience.
This four week Gold course includes everything from the Starter and Silver Packages, plus hands on experience of life on board as crew – with time living on board a sailing yacht and being part of the crew managing the vessel .
