Launching ‘Stay, Sail and Explore’ yacht charters in Gibraltar!
Here at Allabroad Sailing we’re celebrating our 21st year by launching Allabroad Adventures – 1 week ‘Stay, Sail and Explore’ holidays for UK visitors to Gibraltar.
Gibraltar’s vaccine rollout to it’s adult population is complete and with guaranteed sunshine, daily flights and a place on the UK’s Green travel list, we’re gearing up to welcome guests to share a summer of fun.
It’s also our 21st birthday! And to celebrate we’re opening our boats up for 1 week skippered charters for the whole summer – perfect for family and group holidays of 2-6 guests. No sailing experience required!
You’ll have a Yachtmaster qualified skipper on standby during the day to find you the perfect anchorage, show you the ropes, take you dolphin watching, find a superyacht, set up that iconic Instagram shot and organise the ideal spot to swim or paddleboard.
Allabroad is located at the heart of Gibraltar’s vibrant Ocean Village, with it’s first class marina facilities, superb restaurants, cafe’s, bars, shops and casino’s. Your yacht will have a front-line berth in the marina so you won’t be short of choices for après sail activities or for getting out, stretching your legs and exploring Gibraltar on foot. And Casemates Square, the hub of Gibraltar’s Main Street, is just 5-minutes walk away.
We’re really excited to be offering sail, stay and explore holidays in Gibraltar and hope that this will be the start of our guest’s long love affair with sailing… and maybe inspire the next generation of Yachtmasters, Superyacht crew and ocean adventurers.

Your questions answered
Will I get to learn the ropes?
That’s up to you. Your week will be tailored to include as much or as little participation as you like. For those eager to learn we include the option to come away with an RYA Competent Crew qualification. (Or, if you’re eager, ask about our 2 week Day Skipper option which will qualify you to skipper your own charter in the future).
What are the yachts like?
Our fleet is exclusively made up of twin helm Jeanneau 389’s. The interior has 3 double cabins. The galley has a gas oven and hob and a top loading fridge with a small freezer compartment. There is one bathroom onboard and the marina bathroom facilities are second to none.
How much time will I get to explore Gibraltar?
Your choice. There’s a lot to see and do in Gibraltar from exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site including the Rock, to learning about the important role Gibraltar has played in wars, enjoying tax free shopping or spending time on the beach.
Will I visit any other ports?
Not for this summer. We’re staying Covid safe. While Gibraltar’s vaccination programme is comprehensive, neighbouring destinations are at greater risk of a change in their UK travel status (Amber or Green). As a result, if you visit those countries during your time with us, you may then be subject to quarantine and additional testing on your return to the UK.
Is there an age limit?
We’re set up to cater for ages 12 and over. Bringing younger children onboard may stop it being a relaxing holiday for parents and skipper!
How many guests can one boat take?
While the boats have 3 double cabins, we’re legally restricted to no more than 6 people per boat: 5 guests plus the skipper. There’s no minimum number, we welcome couples who would like exclusive use of the boat.
UPDATE: Hot off the press… From mid June we will be able to welcome up to 6 Stay, Sail and Explore guests per yacht. Ideal for 3 couples and larger families – why not invite grandma and grandad! 🙂
