With five matching modern sailing yachts, a Prestige 46 Motor yacht and ‘Warrier of the Deep’ our 10m Powerboat, we offer the best training experience available, providing comfort and contemporary onboard living with superb on-the-water performance.
All our vessels are equipped with the latest in technology such as Broadband Radar, GPS, chart plotter and wind instruments, AIS technology and DSC VHF.
The high performance twin helm Jeanneau 389 represents the latest in yacht innovation by industry leading Jeanneau. These boats point higher than anything we’ve sailed and the light airs performance is incredible.
Larger than the average training vessel, ‘Durban Lady’ is kitted out with the latest hi-tech navigation systems and beautifully finished with luxury fixtures and fittings and air-conditioning throughout
Teaching maximum 3 trainees at a time, ‘Warrior of the Deep’ is ideal for Powerboat training year round in the Bay of Gibraltar.
For short courses you can choose to guarantee a private double berth cabin for an extra fee. Or you can take the luck of the draw upon arrival with your course colleagues and see where you are allocated; private double, port single or starboard convertible double saloon.
Really, you will be so tired after an exhilarating day on the water, and an evening of study or watching the world go by, by the time you go to bed it really is to sleep. This is not like hanging out in a hotel room, it’s a place to get your head down until tomorrow’s adventures call you to the open seas again.
If you don’t want to join a small group, you can always explore our charter option and enjoy the exclusive private use of the yacht.
As a member of crew you will take an equal turn of each berth and cabin type. Everybody will at some stage have a private double berth cabin to themselves. Equally everybody will take the saloon side berth and convertible
saloon double berth too.
If you are not keen on sharing space and want your own private course we do run a VIP Yachtmaster event at a 1:1 ratio – ask for details if this is of interest to you.
For trainees flying in from overseas or living more than half an hour’s car drive away, we offer add-on accommodation packages at a special rate:
STCW: £125 (5-nts Sunday-Friday)
Superyacht Silver: £175 (7-nts Sunday-Sunday)
Superyacht Gold: Included in 4-week training package.
